ZenFo is a screen time management app designed to help users build healthier digital habits. Your privacy is our top priority. All app functionality operates entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, share, or transmit any personal data to external servers.

All data generated by the app (usage statistics, streak records, alarm settings, app limits) is stored locally on your device only and never leaves it.
Usage Access (Package Usage Stats)
Used to monitor how much time you spend on selected apps (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat) so the app can enforce your chosen daily time limits. This data is processed locally on your device and is never shared.
Display Over Other Apps (System Alert Window)
Used to display a motivational video or blocking screen when you reach your daily time limit on a selected app. This permission is required to show the overlay above other apps.
Battery Optimization Exemption
Used to keep the background monitoring service running reliably so your time limits are enforced even when the app is not in the foreground. No battery usage data is collected or shared.
Foreground Service
Used to run the screen time monitoring service in the background. A persistent notification is shown while the service is active, as required by Android.
Schedule Exact Alarms
Used to trigger alarms at the exact times you set. Alarm data is stored locally on your device only.
Post Notifications
Used to show alarm notifications and limit-reached alerts. No notification content is shared externally.
Receive Boot Completed
Used to restart the monitoring service and restore your alarms automatically after your device reboots, so your limits remain active.
Wake Lock
Used to ensure the blocking screen and alarm can wake your device screen when needed.
ZenFo allows you to set a personal motivational video that plays when you reach your daily app limit. This video is stored locally on your device. ZenFo does not access, upload, or share your video files.
Alarm schedules and settings you create are stored locally on your device using Android's local storage. This data is never transmitted externally.
Your daily streak, usage history, and progress data are stored locally on your device only. This data is used solely to display your progress within the app and is never shared.
ZenFo is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
